Funds Transfer pay mode is used to affect the customer balance in the system when the customer pays the bill online. Various online methods may include Net banking or through ATM. In this kind of payment, the payment is not recorded in the system. Funds transfer pay mode is used in order to update the system about the online payment done by the customer.
Funds Transfer is done through New Payment screen.
Example: The Customer A's balance is Rs.1000 debit. Customer pays an amount of Rs.500 through online. As the customer has made an online payment, the customer balance will be Rs.1000 debit. Select Funds Transfer in New Payment screen and make a payment of Rs.500. The customer balance will be Rs.500 debit. Using Funds Transfer feature, the customer account balance can be affected.
