Customer Type

Customer Type screen helps you to define customer types in the application. You may face various types of customers in your business. Some may be normal customers while some are VIPs. These customer types are defined in the customer type screen.

  1. On the System Administration module, click Basic Configurations, click Customer, and then click Customer Type.

  2. In the Customer Type box and the Definition box, type the code and description of the customer type.

  3. In the Party Type drop-down, select the value as individual or organization accordingly.

  4. Select the Is Default check box to make the defined customer type as the default.

  5. Click Save to save the customer type details.

  6. To modify an existing customer type, in the Customer Type box, type the customer type code. You can also click to browse for a customer type.

  7. Modify the required details and click Save to apply the modifications.

Note: The defined customer types are displayed in Customer Type drop-down of Customer screen.
