Nature

Nature screen is used to define the nature of a service request. These details are used while registering a service request.

Follow these steps:

  1. On the System Administration module, click Customer Care, and then click Nature.

  2. Enter the Nature Code and Description in the respective text boxes.

  3. In the Service Request Category panel, select the check box against the category codes you want to map with the nature.

Note: Select the check box against the Code header to map all the service request categories with the resolution.

  1. Select status as Active or Inactive to make the nature active or inactive respectively.
  2. Click Save to save the nature details.

Modify the Nature Details:

  1. To modify an existing nature, in the Nature Code box, type the nature code. You can also click to browse for a nature code. Click on the nature code which you want to modify.

The corresponding details appear in the main window.

  1. Modify the required details and click Save to apply the modifications.

Note: The defined natures appear in the Nature drop-down of Service Request screen.
