Contacts

This screen allows you to create Contact details of a customer. It also helps you to search and modify the existing contact details.

To define contacts:

  1. On Sales CRM menu,  click Contacts.

  2. Click New button to create new contact details.

  3. Select New check box against Contact # to capture new contact details. The New check box is selected, by default.

  4. In the personal Details section, select or enter the customer details such as Title, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Company Name, and Customer #.

  5. In Contact Details section, enter the customer's contact details such as Contact Name, Home Phone, Work Phone, Mobile, E-mail, Secondary Email, Fax, Position, Assistant, Assistant Phone, Reporting To, Department, and Date Of Birth.

  6. Select Opt Out check box if the customer don't wish to be inundated with phone calls.

  7. Select Dont Call check box if the customer don't wish to receive calls.

  8. Select type of Lead Source from the drop-down list. Lead source represents where your sales and contacts are coming from. Example: Search Engine, Existing Customer, Press articles, Email Marketing, social media etc.

Note: The lead sources defined in Lead Source screen are displayed in the Lead Source drop-down.

  1. In the Assigned To drop-down, select the CRM user  assigned to a customer.

  2. In the photo field, click Browse and choose the photo you want to upload.

  3. In Address Info section, enter or select the Lane, Area, City, District, State, Country, and Pincode.  If the customer's address details do not appear in the respective drop downs, then select the New link against each drop-downs. Enter the respective details in the pop up window and click the Save button. The entered details appear in the drop-down lists.

  4. Click Save to save the contact details.

To modify the contact details:

  1. On Others menu, point to CRM and then click Contact.

  2. Enter the minimum required details in the search filters and click the Search button. The required details are displayed in Contact Details grid.

  3. In the Action column, click edit hyperlink against the Contact # to modify the contact details.

  4. Modify the required details and click Save button to save the details.
