Prospect

Prospect screen allows you to register a prospect.A prospect is a person, who contacts customer care department and inquires about the available products  with the service provider. It also allows you to view the existing prospects in the system.

To register or modify a prospect:

Note: The fields available in this screen are configurable. Depending on the business requirement, you can add/remove fields in this screen to capture necessary details at the time of booking a prospect.

  1. On Sales CRM menu, click Prospect.

  2. To register a prospect, select the New check box against Prospect #. By default, the check box is selected. Click on Customer Search link to retrieve all the customers who are existing on the system. Click to browse for the prospects.

Note: Based upon the operational entities assigned to your user account, the prospects are shown in the look up.

  1. In the Prospect Details section, select Prospect Type, Category, Individual/org, and Currency from respective drop-downs.

  2. In the Operational Entity box, enter the operational entity to which the prospect belongs or you can also click to browse for the operational entity.

  3. In the Personal Details section, enter personal and contact details of the prospect like Title, First Name, Last Name, Middle Name, and Company Name.

  4. In the Contact Details section, enter the contact details of the prospect such as Home Phone, Mobile, Contact Name, Fax, Email, Work Phone, Alt.Email.

  5. Select unique identification type from UIN Type drop-down.

  6. Provide the unique identification value in UIN box.

  7. In the Nationality drop-down, select the prospect's nationality.

  8. In the Address Info section, enter or select the details such as Lane, Area, City, District, State, Country, and Pincode. If the customer's address details do not appear in the respective drop-downs, then select the New link against each drop-downs. Enter the respective details in the pop up window and click the Save button. The entered details appear in the drop-down lists.

  9. In Other Info section, enter the Preferred Call Date and Notes if any.

  10. Select the Do You Want to Opt For a Trial Plan check box to associate a trial plan for the prospect.

  11. In the Preferred Plans section, Click Add button to add a plan in which the prospect is interested. The plans available in the system appear in the drop-down under Plan Name column. Repeat the process to add different plans for the prospect.

  12. Select the Delete check box and click Update to delete a plan.

  13. Click to edit the plan. Click update to save the modified details.

  14. Click Save to save the details.

To modify an existing prospect:

  1. In the Prospect # box, type the prospect number or click to browse for a prospect. The prospect details appear on the screen.

  2. Modify the required details.

  3. You can also upload prospect related document by clicking icon. In Documents pop-up window, click Browse button to browse for the document. Enter the Description and select the Document Type from the drop-down. Click Upload button to upload the document.

  4. Click Save to apply the modifications.

Note : Prospect number is automatically generated if the profile option Auto Generate Prospect Number's value is set to Y . You can add flex attributes in Prospect screen. These flex attributes will be maintained after converting the prospect to customer too.
