CustomerStanding Instruction is the mode of payment (credit card, direct debit, echeck) agreed by the customer to pay against a package for each payment term during the course of subscription. Thorough standing instructions customer can instruct banks for regular funds transfers to make payments automatically.
It is an easy and automated way to reduce the administrative burden for periodical payments. Based on the specified pay modes, customer gives a mandate to the bank to debit a fixed amount from your account and pay the service provider.
For example, you could set up an instructions to transfer a fixed sum of money every month to a particular account.
Magnaquest's Billing & CRM solution facilitates you with Standing Instructions feature. It allows you to capture standing instructions of the customer and automatically assign the standing instructions for direct debit towards the generated invoices. There are many ways of payment through standing instructions, In this topic we shall look into all the payment processes using standing instructions. Before we assign the standing instructions, we need to capture the standing instructions of the customer.
Standing Instructions screen helps to capture the standing instruction details of a customer. This can be done while registering the customer in our solution.

Enter the standing instruction details of the customer in the screen. In the illustration shown above, we are capturing the standing instructions (credit card) of a customer. You can also enter Debit Card details. After you enter all the details, click Save to save the details. For more information regarding the various options available in the screen, please see Standing Instructions help screen.
