Lookup Code Types screen is used to define the masters required for the application. These masters are displayed in the application and the masters data is defined in Lookup Codes screen.
You can also modify the existing lookup code types through this screen.
To define and modify lookup code types:
On System Administration module, click Application Lookups, and then click Lookup Code Types.
Enter the name, description, and table name of the lookup code in respective fields.
In the Additional Attributes grid enter attribute details like, Attribute Name, Display Name, Datatype, Validation Type, Value list, Length, Required, Sequence id, Search Key, Visible, Filters, Result set, and Order are displayed.
Click the Save button to save the details.
To modify a lookup code, enter the lookup code type in the given field. Else, click the Search Lookup against the Lookup Code Type field. Enter the minimum required details in the searching fields and click the Search button. The details appear in Lookup Search pop up window. Select the required lookup code type link from the Search Results list in Lookup Search pop up window. Lookup code type description, table name, and additional attributes appear in the main window.
In Additional Attributes grid, click the edit symbol against the attribute name to edit the attributes.
Modify the details and click the Save button to apply the modification.
