Navigation Flow

Navigation feature assists user to automatically navigate to various screens in Billing & CRM solution to complete a business process logically. As part of Navigation feature, flow for navigations is defined in Navigation Flow screen. The navigation flow consists of sequence of transactions required to complete a business process logically in Billing & CRM solution. The sequence includes the current transaction as well as the next target transactions required to complete the business process.

You can also modify or delete an existing flow details through this screen.

User role wise Navigation flow may vary.

For example: Navigation flow can be configured for Normal Operational User, Customer Service Representative (CSR), Administrator etc. and must be different to each other.

If you want to define a navigation flow for normal operational user, then the transactions flow can be set in the following order:

  1. Customer Booking in Customer screen

  2. Contract Booking in Order screen

  3. Hardware-Service association in Association screen

  4. Check provisioning request status generated for all required business processes in Provisioning request screen

In this case, on successful completion of one business process system will automatically navigate to next business process configured in the navigation flow.

To define a navigation flow:

  1. On the System Administration module, click Basic Configurations, click Navigation, and then click Navigation Flow.

  2. In the Navigation Code box, type the navigation code (An unique code to identify the navigation).

  3. In the Description box, type the description of the navigation flow.

  4. In the Status drop-down, select status as Active or Inactive.

  5. Click Add to define the flow for navigation.

  6. In the Navigation Key drop-down, select the screen name.

  7. Click Add to define the next target in the navigation flow.

  8. Repeat the process to add more targets.

  9. Click up and down arrows to rearrange the order.

  10. Select the Delete check box to delete a particular navigation key.

  11. Click Save to save the navigation flow.

  12. To modify a navigation flow, in the Navigation Code box, type the navigation flow code. You can also click to browse for a navigation code. Modify the details and click Save to save the modified details.
