Navigation Role Mapping screen is useful to map navigation flow names with user roles. As part of Navigation, the configured transaction page is displayed as Home page (instead of application Home page) when the user having the mapped role logs in to the system.
For example: If a user having CSR role logs in to the system then system will display Ticket Registration Page (if this business process is configured in Navigation Flow) instead of normal application home page.
When the user successfully completes one business process, the system will auto-navigate to the next business process configured in the navigation flow.
To map navigation flows with a role:
On the System Administration module, click Basic Configurations, click Navigation, and then click Navigation Role Mapping.
In the Role drop-down, select the role to which you want to assign the defined navigation flows (Navigation flows are defined in Navigation Flow screen). The assigned navigation flows appear in Mapped Navigation panel and unassigned navigation flows appear in Navigation panel.
In the Navigation Flows panel, select the navigation flows which you want to assign to the role. Click right arrow to assign the navigation flows.
To unassign a navigation flow, in the Mapped Navigation panel, select the navigation flows which you want to unassign. Click left arrow to move the navigation flows to Navigation Flows panel.
Click Save to save the mapping.
