Time slot is the defined interval of time for the purpose of pricing. Based on the defined time slot, you can define different charges. Time Slots are defined in Time Slots screen.
Example: In a VoIP service, time slots and their pricing is defined as

If the consumed units of customer is 15 calls, out of which 5 fall under time slot A, 5 under slot B, 5 under slot C, then the total charge is 5*4 + 5*7 + 5*5 = Rs.80.
