Profile Options for Products & Services

The following profile options are available in products & services.

• Allow Prepaid Price Plan

• Allow Perpetual Price Plan

• Allow Service Downgrade

The profile options are explained in detail.

•  Allow Prepaid Price Plan: This profile option allows the user to define a Prepaid price plan.

Current Values:

Yes: If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', then the Prepaid will be displayed in Price Plan Type drop-down in Price Plan screen.

No: If this profile option value is set to 'No', then the Prepaid price plan type will not be displayed.

Default Value: Yes.

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

•  Allow Perpetual Price Plan: This profile option allows the user to define a Perpetual price plan.

Current Values:

Yes: If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', then the Perpetual will be displayed in Price Plan Type drop-down in Price Plan screen.

No: If this profile option value is set to 'No', then the Perpetual plan type will not be displayed.

Default Value: Yes.

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Allow Service Downgrade: This profile option is used to apply service downgrade feature.

Current Values:

Yes:  If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', then the service downgrade feature will be applicable.

No: If this profile option value is set to 'No', then the service downgrade feature will not be applied.

Default Value: No.

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Auto Generate Bundle Code: This profile option is required to generate bundle code while creating a plan through CreatePlan API. For this option, you can set the following values.

Current Value:

Yes: If the profile option value is set to "Yes", the application automatically generates a bundle code after a plan is created through CreatePlan API.

Default Value: No

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Auto Generate Channel Code: This profile option is used to automatically generate channel code when you define a channel through Channel screen.

Current Values:

Yes: If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', then the channel code will be generated automatically when a new channel is defined.

No:  If this profile option value is set to 'No', then the channel code should be entered manually in the Code box of the Channel screen.

Default Value: No.

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Auto Generate Plan Code: This profile option is requited to automatically generate plan code while creating a plan through CreatePlan API. For this option, you can set the following values.

Current Value:

Yes: If the profile option value is set to "Yes", the application automatically generates a plan code after a plan is created through CreatePlan API.

Default Value: No

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Auto Generate Service Code: This profile option is requited to automatically generate service code while creating a plan through CreatePlan API. For this option, you can set the following values.

Current Value:

Yes: If the profile option value is set to "Yes", the application automatically generates a service code after a plan is created through CreatePlan API.

Default Value: No

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Default DC Rule:  This profile option is used to capture default disconnection credit rule in the system.

Current Value: In the 'Current Value' box, select the disconnection credit rule, which should be applied by default. The available rules are No Disconnection Credit, Exact Usage, and Custom Rule.

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Default Prorata Rule: This profile option is used to capture default prorata rule in the system.

Current Value: In the 'Current Value' box, select the prorata rule, which should be applied by default. The available rules are Compute Exact Amount, Charge for Full Month, Waive Prorated Amount, Not Applicable, and Custom Rule.

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Default Tax Inclusion Rule:  This profile option helps the user to decide if the charge generated is inclusive of tax or exclusive of tax for the plans created through Create Plan Webservice.

Current Values:

Yes: If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', then the tax will be included in the charge.

No: If this profile option value is set to 'No', then the tax will not be included in the charge generated.

Default Value: Yes

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Enable Adhoc Duration:  This profile option is used to display Extend Duration drop-down in Plan Attribute Information screen.

Current Values:

Yes: If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', then the Extend Duration drop-down will be displayed in Plan Attribute Information screen.

No: If this profile option value is set to 'No', then the Extend Duration drop-down will not be displayed in Plan Attribute Information screen.

Default Value: No.

Note:  In the Plan Expiry Extension screen, after clicking on Save to extend the duration of the plan, the plan is extended by the duration selected in the Extend Duration drop-down, by default. User is not allowed to select the duration in the Plan Expiry Extension screen.. This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Enable Estimated Price: This profile option is required to set estimated price for plans. This is useful for prospect management. For this profile option, you can set the following values.

Current Value:

Yes: If the profile option value is set to "Yes" then estimated price field is displayed in Price Plan screen.

No: If the profile option value is set to "Yes" then estimated price field is displayed in Price Plan screen.

Default Value: No

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Enable Pricing Scheme: This profile option is required to enable scheme based pricing. For this profile option, you can set the following values.

Current Value:

Yes: If the profile option value is set to "Yes" then scheme based pricing feature is enabled.

No: If the profile option value is set to "No" then scheme based pricing feature is disabled.

Default Value: No

Note:

• This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

• Enabling pricing scheme displays a column Scheme Instance in Pricing screen.

• By Enabling pricing scheme No. of Outlets column or Product Wise Outlets grid is displayed in Order screen, based on the profile option Outlets required on product.

•  Show Services By Genre:  This profile option is used to display services genre wise.

Current Values:

Yes: This profile option value is set to 'Yes' to display services genre wise in the Service Order (New) screen and Selfcare portal's Book or Modify screen.

No: This profile option value is set to 'No'  to display the plan details normally.

Default Value: No
