Profile Options for Provisioning

The following profile options are available in Provisioning module:

The profile options are explained in detail.

Current Values:

Yes: Set the value to Yes to allow duplicate pool values.

No: Set the value to No not to allow duplicate pool values.

Default Value: No

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Values:

TRUE: If the profile option is set as TRUE, the provisioning actions will be approved by default. Then Generate request job is scheduled to generate the corresponding provisioning requests to carry out the actions in the system.

FALSE: If the profile option is set as FALSE, then the provisioning request will not be approved by default.  In such case, workflow should be set in order to approve provisioning.

Default Value: TRUE

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Values:

Yes: set the value to Yes generate request.

No: Set the value to No not to generate a request.

Default Value: No

Note: If Provisioning System exists for Data Center the this profile option value should be set to Yes. This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Values:

Yes: If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', then  the VAS functionality will be enabled.

No: If this profile option value is set to 'No', then  the VAS functionality will be disabled.

Default Value: No

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Values:

Yes: If this profile option value is set to 'Yes', request is generated to external system.

No: If this profile option value is set to 'No', request is not generated.

Default Value: No

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Values:

TRUE: If the profile option value is set to TRUE, then provisioning requests are generated when the customer details are modified.

FALSE: If the profile option value is set to FALSE, then requests are not generated.

Default Value: FALSE

Note: This profile option value cannot be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Value: In the  'Current Value' box, enter any number to re-send the request for the specified number of times.

Example: If the 'Current value' is given as 3, then the user is given 3 attempts to re-send the request for which the response is not received.

Default Value: 1.

Note: This profile option value can be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Value: In the Current Value box, enter a numeric value to set the number of days limit for the reserved numbers to expire. The expiry is calculated from the day the number is reserved to a customer. Once the reserved number is expired, the status of the reserved number changes to "free" state. To free the expired reserved numbers, you need to run a batch job "Cancel Expired Number Reservation". For more information about scheduling a job, refer Online Help.

Default Value: 1.

Note: This profile option value can be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Value: In the Current Value box, specify the number of days before which the messages have to be sent to the customer.

Default Value: NA.

Note: This profile option value can be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Value:

YES: Set the value to Y to display Entitlements link in Single View screen.

NO:  Set the value to N, not to  display the Entitlement link in Single View screen.

Default Value:Yes

Note: This profile option value can be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Values:

YES: If the profile option is set as YES, then you can change status of the provisioning requests in Provisioning Request screen to achieve the required business process.

NO: If the profile option is set as NO, then in the Status column appears as disabled in the above screen and you cannot change the provisioning request status. In such case, the requests are handled by adapters.

Default Value: YES

Note: This profile option value can be overridden by the normal user in View/Modify User Profile Options screen.

Current Values:

YES: When the profile option is set as YES and if you book new contract on a pre-activated hardware, then all the pre-activated services available in the hardware are disconnected and new services are added.

In such case, disconnection request should be generated for the demo plan and the activation request for the new plan under the contract.

NO: If the profile option is set as NO, then the pre-activated services are not disconnected at the time of new contract booking. In this case, only activation request is generated for the new plan booked under the contract.

Default Value: YES
